GINA: ARTIST & AGENCY
Have you ever had a friend who is so infectious through her personality, style, laughter, energy that anything she does or says has you in a daze? Well meet Gina she is my infectious (in a good way) kinda friend! Gina and I go back to our Barcelona times, we had briefly met years ago because her younger brother and my cousin are in a rock band together called The Walkers (mental note MUST do a post about them), but we never hung out, till a few summers ago when we were both in NY visiting and we connected! Then Gina moved to Barcelona, so the inevitable happened (instant friends), we had so much in common, we both went to the same college in London (though different years), we both grew up in different cities and moved around most of our lives, speak various languages, love fashion, music, makeup, and hot guys (then again who doesn’t?)! Funnily enough we both also ended up moving to the US, different cities but not so far away she is in NY and Im in DC, and it is always SO amazing to know I have someone from back home not too far away. When I went to NY last week I met her at her very OWN studio Artist & Agency (so proud of you tia;)! Artist & Agency is a New York based boutique agency representing talented and top notch photographers/directors, names such as Gilles Bensimon or Rasmus Mogensen ring a bell? Yes be jealous, those are just a few of the talented people she gets to work with and hang out! While we were catching up she was showing me and telling me about all the amazing work her team and artists have been working on. And of course I couldn’t help but being mesmerized by her style, that necklace, those dark purple lips, and all the makeup goodies and last minute Gilt shopping she had lying around her office. Most importantly that Chanel bag (drooling) that of course comes with that Gina story: “OHHHH and the story behind the chanel bag is that I stumbled into a chanel store dressed like crap and the girls were so snooty I bought a bag and dropped my coffee on the floor.” Now I suddenly have the urge to do just that (don’t you?), except Im gonna have to wait till I can actually afford that bag;)
